Starting a childcare business might sound like a complicated endeavor, but it’s simplified when you partner with Jovie. We’ve opened over 200 franchises across 30 states, with more on the way, so we’ve gotten the process down to a science. We’ll work with you to get your location up and running, to prepare you for franchise ownership and to provide you with ongoing support as your business grows. Here’s a sneak peek at a few of the most important steps in the process of starting a childcare business.
STEP 1
Contact Us
We’ll provide you with plenty of information on starting up a childcare business: what’s required, what to expect and so forth. When you contact us by filling out a simple form, we’ll set up a time to talk. We’ll let you know what we’re looking for in a franchisee and what our franchisees can expect from us. If it seems like we’d be a good match, we’ll move on to the next steps.
STEP 2
Get Familiar with Our Model
We’ll provide you with detailed information on the Jovie business model. During this time, you will:
- View webinars covering the concept overview, technology, training, day in the life as well as marketing and recruiting webinars
- Review our franchise disclosure document (FDD)
- Learn how we target customers and discuss territory options
- Understand the demographics of your market and how it relates to the Jovie business and growth potential
STEP 3
Meet our Franchisees
Once you have a better understanding of the opportunity, we’ll invite you to speak with Jovie franchisees that are already doing this across the country to validate that this is a good fit for you.
STEP 4
Meet Our Team
You’ll have the opportunity to get to know our team before you’re asked to make any final decisions about starting a childcare business. During this stage of the process, you’ll:
- Have an interview with our Brand President, Joe Loch
- Get to know our national support team
By getting to know us better, we can all establish how well we might work together and how our values align.
STEP 5
Signing Your Franchise Agreement
In step 2 as part of the FDD, you’ll be provided with a sample franchise agreement to review. As we get closer to a decision about each other, you will be provided with an executable franchise agreement. Once you meet our team, background screens are completed and if you are awarded a franchise, the next step will be to sign your franchise agreement and pay your initial franchise fee. Once this is done, congratulations – you’re officially a Jovie franchisee! Now we can really get to work on starting up a childcare business in your territory.
Once your business is up and running, our help doesn’t stop. We’ll continue to provide you with ongoing training and support throughout the life of your business to help you make the most of your investment.
